His success as a real estate advisor complements his love for all things midcentury modern, including homes, architecture, furniture, artwork, and home accessories. He has a passion for marketing architecturally unique homes, whether the properties are modern, traditional, or historic. A collector of 20th century vintage modern furniture and artwork, David has curated an extensive collection admired by many midcentury enthusiasts.
A native Charlottean and graduate of Appalachian State University, David was previously an executive with several prestigious design firms in New York and San Francisco specializing in corporate branding and design communications. Outside of the office, he enjoys being a member of the Raintree Country Club and volunteers his time to the Charlotte Museum of History as a docent for the annual Mad About Modern home tour. During his time in San Francisco, David was honored to teach strategic marketing and branding at the Academy of Art University. He has held positions on the Raintree Homeowners Association as president, vice president, and general member, and served as chairman of its Architectural Review Committee. A frequent traveler and snow skier, David also appreciates fine wine and dining, tennis, design and architecture, and spending quality time with friends, family, and his two beagles, Eben and Jake. When he's not at home in Charlotte, David enjoys soaking in the crisp mountain air at his second residence in Beech Mountain, North Carolina.
